“As I share the news of my release from the position of Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, I am overwhelmed with profound emotions. This chapter of my diplomatic journey has been extraordinary, marked by both challenges and triumphs leaving indelible impression on my life.

During my tenure, Ukraine faced an unprecedented full-scale invasion by russia, a period that tested the resilience of our nation. It was a time when the world was taken away seeing the strength and unity of Ukrainians. I have seen Ukrainians training and fighting, I will witness us rebuilding. I have done my best to help my compatriots to find safe heaven here, to survive back home and to have means to repel the aggression and liberate our territories. Ukrainians’ stoicism, unity, dignity and defiance in facing off an overwhelming force of the aggressor earned respect and help from our friends around the Globe. I am proud to be called one of you!

I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support and solidarity demonstrated by the UK. I will never tire repeating this again and again. Thank you! Together, we stood shoulder to shoulder, united in the fight for Ukraine's sovereignty and our shared values.

The UK has been a leader in the coalition of Ukraine’s allies and partners. All of you, His Majesty’s Government, Armed Forces, all kind people. You helped us to persevere in the darkest hour.

My special gratitude goes to people of the UK, who opened up their houses and hearts to Ukrainian families fleeing from the horrors of war. We are in deep debt to you. I know how closely Ukrainians are taking this to their hearts. Thank you!

My journey as Ambassador may be coming to a close, but my commitment to serving Ukraine and Ukraine-UK relations remains steadfast. I will continue to contribute in any capacity required to further the progress and well-being of our nations.
