Newly appointed Prime Minister Andy Burnham spoke with President Zelenskyy.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the UK's resolute commitment to the people of Ukraine and was unequivocal: there will be no change in the UK's approach, including when it comes to bearing down on Russia.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked him for his warm words of respect for the Ukrainian people and his condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in Russia's recent attacks.
"Ukraine and the United Kingdom have built the strongest partnership in the history of relations between our two countries, and we will certainly continue working to expand it even further," the President said.
The leaders agreed to discuss their continued cooperation, including their work within the Anti-Ballistic Coalition, at a meeting in the near future.
