The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has issued Resolution No. 787 of 28 July 2021 specifying quarantine measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine.
Persons arriving in Ukraine who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must self-isolate and use the official Dia app.
Upon arrival, foreign nationals are required to present a valid health insurance policy covering COVID-19 that was issued by an insurance provider registered in Ukraine, or a foreign insurance provider having a representative office in Ukraine, or a contractual relationship with an insurance partner (a healthcare management organisation) in Ukraine. The insurance policy must cover the costs associated with the treatment of COVID-19 and observation, and have a validity period that covers the entire duration of stay in Ukraine.
In addition, one of the following documents is required:
∙ a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines that are WHO approved and included on the list for use in emergency situations;
or ∙ a negative rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 antigen (RAT, Ag) taken 72 hours or less before entry;
or ∙ a certificate of a negative PCR test taken 72 hours or less before the entry.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine regarding the pilgrimage of Hasids to Uman, Ukraine for Rosh Hashanah, all pilgrims are urged to follow strictly the aforementioned requirements due to the threatening epidemiological situation.
