On 23 November, the Embassy of Ukraine joined the Ukrainian community in London at the memorial to the innocent victims of the 1932-1933 Holodomor, Europe's oldest monument to that tragedy.
Commemorations included a wreath-laying ceremony, the lighting of Candles of Remembrance, a moment of silence and a memorial service.
Ambassador Natalia Galibarenko said that
"We must remember the past so that we always remain strong in the fight against the aggressor for the right to live in an independent country".
