The delegation of Ministry of Defence of Ukraine participates in the British-Ukrainian military and political consultations in London
On May 15, in London, within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the delegation of Ministry of Defence of Ukraine led by Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for European Integration Lieutenant General Anatolii Petrenko participated in the British-Ukrainian military and political consultations.
Gen. Petrenko held talks with Mark Lankaster, Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Nick Gurr, UK Ministry of Defence Director for International Security Policy, Lieutenant General Mark Karleton-Smith, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff (Military Strategy and Operations), and Ben Fender Head, Security Policy Department, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK.
The parties discussed a military and political situation, current progress of cooperation between the defence ministries of the two countries, defined direction and priorities of further cooperation, as well as agreed the plan of bilateral cooperation.
