I am sending greetings and best wishes on the Independence Day of Ukraine!

We are conscious of the huge progress that has been made in the 26 years since Ukraine achieved its freedom and congratulate you on all that has been achieved. However, we are also very much aware that part of the sovereign territory of Ukraine is still under Russian occupation and that fighting continues in the East.

We were delighted to welcome Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman to the British Parliament in July and to assure him of the United Kingdom’s continuing support for the people of Ukraine.
