The interlocutors focused on the progress of reforms in Ukraine, the security situation in Donbas as well as measures taken by the Government to leverage foreign investments into the economy of the state.

"Ukraine is quite successful in implementation of reforms, in particular in the energy and security sector. I will pursue efforts to promote strengthening Ukraine", said David Cameron.

Referring to the priorities for the Ukrainian Government, Volodymyr Groysman stressed: "Our reform agenda is rather broad, namely the economy, a governance reform and human capital development, the rule of law and strengthening our security and defense domains".

Separately the parties discussed the process of preparation and urgent topics to be considered during the international high-level conference devoted to the progress of reforms in Ukraine, which was scheduled for July this year in London.

Volodymyr Groysman and David Cameron considered in details the practical issues of countering Russian aggression in Donbas, notably, the need to prolong the sanctions by the EU towards the Russian Federation as the only practical and effective mechanism to deter the aggressor.

David Cameron has pledged readiness to continue his efforts to attract international support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
