“United Kingdom and Poland are set to a resolute support of Ukraine”, - UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski said during the meeting with their Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin on March 1.
Ukrainian Minister stressed on the symbolic nature of the visit of his British and Polish colleagues which is taking place on the third anniversary of the beginning of the Russian aggression and expressed gratitude for their solidarity and support of Ukraine in its fight for restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Boris Johnson and Witold Waszczykowski expressed confidence that the Russian aggression against Ukraine needs resolute rebuff and that the pressure on Russia from the international community has to be strengthened in order to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine in its internationally recognized borders. The Ministers emphasized on Ukraine’s considerable success in conducting reforms and assured of the continuing support of Ukraine’s internal transformations.
Minister Klimkin outlined the practical support that the United Kingdom and Poland are rendering to Ukraine in training Ukrainian militaries, providing medical assistance to wounded Ukrainian soldiers as well as conducting consistent social and economic reforms.
