The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine declares resolute protest concerning the Russian authorities’ refusal for the Ukrainian consul to meet with illegally sentenced in Russia Ukrainian Stanislav Klykh.

Such outrageous and groundless neglect of the so-called Russia’s justice and the Ukrainian consular official’s lawful right to visit his country’s citizen has become an another evidence that the court in this resonant criminal case is prejudiced. Also it confirms that the Russian side makes an attempt to conceal the consequences of its inhuman treatment of Stanislav Klykh.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine demands from Russia to allow the Ukrainian consular official to visit illegally sentenced Ukrainian Stanislav Klykh as well as visit others illegally detained Ukrainians in Russia according to the Article 11 of the Ukraine-Russia Consular Convention 1995.
