"Holodomor was well-organised attempt to physically destroy Ukrainians, and we have to remember those terrible lessons of our history, when people were being exterminated by totalitarian regime and that crimes against humanity should not be repeated in the future," - Ambassador of Ukraine Natalia Galibarenko said in her address to the audience.
Ukrainian diplomats along with Ukrainians in London, representatives of the UK Parliament and local authorities laid the wreaths at the foot of the Holodomor Memorial at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Transfiguration followed by a service of remembrance.
