The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is extremely indignant with the fact of felonious desecration in Russia of the State symbol of Ukraine - National Flag’s arson committed by a group of young radicals during the attack on the premises of the National Cultural Centre of Ukraine in Moscow on November 22, 2016.

The systematic character of these actions near the Ukrainian institution in the heart of the Russian capital and no appropriate response from the law-enforcement authorities indicate that these actions have been planned and authorised.

The Ukrainian side considers such actions against the Ukrainian institution which carries out exclusively peaceful and educational work as a blunt provocation. These actions are aimed at fomenting ethnic hatred and artificially implanting anti-Ukrainian aggression in the Russian society.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has declared resolute prostect to the Russian side and demanded immediate investigation of this case and called for publicity of the court sentence to all those involved in committing that.
