Within the framework of the visit on October 16-19, the British delegation visited the East of Ukraine, in particular liberated from Russian occupation Sloviyansk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk, control check-point Zaytseve as well as met with the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Civil Administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, Ukrainian militaries, internally displaced persons, experts and representatives of the OSCE. Thus, the British MPs haв a chance to eyewitness the scale and consequences of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

 

During the visit to the East British parliamentary delegation was accompanied by Ukrainian colleagues, MPs, Co-Chairs of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on UK in the Verkhovna Rada Svitlana Zalishchuk and Oleksiy Ryabchyn.

In Kyiv the British MPs met with Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Hanna Hopko and other members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko.
