Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin spoke by phone on August 11. Boris Johnson stressed that the UK supports sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and will keep pressure on Russia to implement the Minsk agreements and return to the international law.
Pavlo Klimkin informed the British Foreign Minister on the provocative actions undertaken by the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea and escalation of situation in Donbas.
Ministers agreed to meet soon at one of the coming international meetings. State Secretary Boris Johnson has also accepted an invitation to visit Ukraine.
