Ukraine is grateful to the United Kingdom for its support of conducting effective work on the way towards the fight against corruption and reforming law-enforcement and judicial system

On May 12, 2016, Minister of Justice of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Anti-Corruption Summit taking place in London, Pavlo Petrenko met with Minister for Europe David Lidington.

The Minister of Justice elaborated on the Ukraine’s achievements in the fight against corruption and reforms in the law-enforcement and judicial system as well as informed in details about the further tasks lying ahead. 

In this regard the parties emphasized on the importance of appointing as soon as possible of a new Prosecutor General of Ukraine and adoption of laws necessary, including, for continuation of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.

Minister Lidington welcomed Ukraine’s efforts and informed about the readiness of the British Side to continue the correspondent support of our country in order to achieve the most effective results in the anti-corruption policy of the Government of Ukraine.
