The new Ambassador of Ukraine Natalia Galibarenko presented her credentials to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 2 March 2016 at a formal ceremony held at Buckingham Palace. The presentation marked the official assumption of duties as Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom.
The Ambassador was escorted to Buckingham Palace in a state carriage by the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps from the Embassy. During the ceremony Natalia Galibarenko presented her Letters of Credence to The Queen who accredited her as the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Ambassador thanked Her Majesty the Queen for the audience and expressed her gratitude for the solidarity and support of Ukraine. Natalia Galibarenko expressed the intentions to further strengthen friendly relations between the two countries. Her Majesty the Queen conveyed her best regards to President Poroshenko and the people of Ukraine.
At a reception at the Embassy following the formal ceremony at Buckingham Palace, Ambassador Natalia Galibarenko noted the unchangeable stance of Great Britain in supporting territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressed that Ukraine remains reliable partner of the UK at the international arena.
