In the framework of this visit, on February 23, Mr. Ihor Dolhov held talks with Ms. Penny Mordaunt, Minister of State for UK Armed Forces.

The parties discussed the issues related to the current state and prospects of development of the bilateral defence relations, military political situation in Ukraine, humanitarian aid from the UK Government, process of reforms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and development of normative legislative basis of bilateral cooperation.

They paid a particular attention to the training conducted by the UK instructors and educational projects, as well as activities fulfilled by UK adviser to Ukraine responsible for management and financial management in defence sphere.

The parties signed the Plan of bilateral cooperation between the Ukrainian and UK Ministries of Defence for 2016.
