Kyiv hosts Internationa forum on energy

From 1 to 3 March 2015 Kyiv will host the seventh annual international forum on energy organized by the Adam Smith Conferences.

More than 300 representatives energy companies from 20 countries are expected at the event.

The main topics for discussion at the event will be the ways of increasing domestic production of energy, diversification of energy sources and their reliability, the success of reforms to improve transparency and modernization of the energy sector of Ukraine.

The participants will be able to get the latest information on the progress of the energy sector of Ukraine directly from representatives of the Ukrainian government, legislative bodies and heads of state energy companies. Additionally, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn, Chairman of Ukrnafta Mark Rollins, Director of the Department for International Development and Public Company "Eustream" Mirek Topolanek, will be among the speakers at the forum.

Participants will also have the opportunity to join analytical discussions with Ukrainian and international experts to elaborate further strategies in order to strengthen the energy security of Ukraine and the prospects of the global energy market.
