The event in London is organised by “Master Klass”, the House of Education and Culture (Kyiv, Ukraine), with support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Great Britain.
Puzzles of Eternity is a mega international initiative which unites Two Geniuses and Two Treasures – the “Bach Archive” of sheet music (Kyiv) with unique Baroque sculptures made of wood and 3D frescoes from the “Pinzel Museum” (Lviv). Musicians, painters, researchers, philanthropists present a series of charity concerts and visual performances with a view to salvaging the rare collections and breathing a new life into them.
In London, “Puzzles of Eternity” will be presented by the President family – the First Lady of Ukraine Maryna Poroshenko and children Olexandra and Mykhaylo who play classical and jazz Bach together with the unique duet of 12-year-old violinists Illia Bondarenko and Tetiana Zhmendak – Two Violins – who perform jazz, baroque, classical music in unprecedented partnership with professionals such as Natalia Lebedeva – the brilliant pianist, composer and arranger who made all the arrangers to the Puzzles of Eternity project. Natalia Lebedeva Trio plays the concert program of the project.
The Project Aims:
To raise funds in order to establish a public Internet multilingual archive of sheet music from the “Bach Archive” collection and to restore Pinzel’s legacy: both the museum and all the sculptures by the master, which with years are falling prey to weather conditions, barbarous ‘restorations’, wood-fretters, illegal collectors.
Puzzles of Eternity was firstly presented at the UN in New York on October 16, 2014. A great jazz pianist Aaron Goldberg took part at the project and played with children violinists at the concert.
It was a good start. After the concerts in New York, we were invited to make the tour in the USA that will be realized in Dec 2014 – Jan 2015. We do the fundraising, giving worldwide fundraising musical and visual tour that combines jazz and baroque music with the video.
